Reporting to:                          Director, Program Audit and Compliance



The position will mainly be responsible for:

  • the quarterly, semi-annual and/or annual cash management reviews for each Originator,
  • assisting with the cash management assessment of new Originators through a formalized due diligence process,
  • assisting, when required, with the review of all contract documentation (Loans, Conditional Sale Contracts, Leases) including:
  • the review of Personal Property Security Act registrations,
  • ensuring all credit and documentation requirements have been met as per credit and collection policies,
  • the review of lease/loan transactions on various contract administration systems.


The position will interact with both internal senior staff and external partners to obtain the complete funding parameters for new transactions and to clarify any outstanding issues or deficiencies to ensure all processes /policies are adhered to. Working in an efficient manner that supports the fast pace and deadlines of the department is imperative.



Cash Management Reviews

  • Gain an understanding of the specifics of each Originator’s securitization program in order to better perform the quarterly cash management and annual audit functions,
  • As part of the due diligence process for new Originator’s, perform the cash management review as per the specified internal guidelines,



  • Present all relevant findings of each cash review in a formalized report for review by internal and external parties,
  • Review of contract documentation including the review of PPSA and/or RDPRM filings and analysis of search results.



  • Maintain and update the quarterly and annual cash management review log,
  • Perform related duties as assigned.



 Required skills:

  • A minimum of 2-5 years in an accounting/bookkeeping role preferably in the financial services industry,
  • OR a minimum 2 -5 years of loan or lease administration experience or experience in the financial services industry in a document preparation or audit role,
  • Basic understanding of discounted cash-flows and financial calculations,
  • Strong communication, organization and time management skills with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external customers.
  • Proven ability to work well in a team environment and ability to handle a variety of items simultaneously.
  • Ability to work within tight timeframes,


Nice to have:

  • Basic knowledge of personal property security registrations throughout Canada,
  • Fluency in French would be an asset (but not essential) as we support businesses across Canada
